Our family began farming this land in 1912 as a dairy farm. After John Sr. passed away in 1986, John and Bobbie and the family transitioned to raising beef cattle, which allowed more time to focus on their three young children. Today, those children are grown and actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the farm alongside their spouses. We’re now blessed to have the next generation—our grandchildren—joining in and contributing to the work we do.
As the dairy industry began to decline, we looked for new ways to sustain the farm and started growing pumpkins and Christmas trees. After reading about corn mazes in agricultural publications, we became intrigued and decided to give it a try. Our first maze was designed by The Corn Maize, a company based in Utah. From there, we attended conferences, connected with other farm families, and learned about fun additions like pedal karts, cow train rides, and even a candy cannon—marking the beginning of our journey into agri-tainment.
Family has always been at the heart of everything we do. Being able to work side-by-side and welcome other families to enjoy the farm is something we deeply value. Creating a place where people can make memories, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with each other is more than a business—it's a privilege.
